| OUR MISSION AND GOALS |
CTCPI aims to promote integrity, ethics and professionalism in the travel industry. Accordingly, the council requires
its members to conduct business according to a set of professional standards, representing all facts, conditions
and requirements relating to tours and vacation packages to Italy truthfully and accurately. Members must also
demonstrate ethical and financial responsibility in their business conduct and instill confidence in their financial
stability, reliability and integrity.
All advertising conducted by CTCPI members must be ethical and truthful, in accordance with Provincial Government
requirements and adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Quoted prices must be available and deliverable.
2. Facilities, accommodations and services must be accurately identified.
3. Substitutions must be promptly communicated to the travel agent and client.
Among CTCPI's goals are:
1. To educate the travel industry, government agencies, and the public about tours, vacation packages, and tour
operators who specialize in tourism to Italy.
2. To foster a high level of professionalism within the travel industry, particularly amongst operators offering
Italy to the Canadian marketplace.
3. To educate about, to facilitate and to develop tourism from Canada to Italy. |
